Weekend Trips to Monty Roberts' Ranch details. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Promotion (also referred to herein as "Giveeaway" or "Trip") begins on or about 12:00 am Eastern Time on 4/1/2013 and ends at 11:59 pm Eastern Time on 5/15/2013.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE LOWER 48 OF THE UNITED STATES (AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. (EXCLUDING WHERE OTHERWISE PROHIBITED BY LAW) WHO, AS OF TIME OF ENTRY, ARE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR STATE, PROVINCE, OR TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE, WHICHEVER IS OLDER. The Giveaway begins on April 1, 2013, at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on May 15, 2013 (the "Promotion Period").
1. HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter:
(1). As an ACTHA member you are automatically entered. Same applies if you join ACTHA.
(2). Option B. Alternate Means of Entry: Hand-print your complete name, address, city, state, zip/postal code,
Email address, date of birth and phone number on a 3"x5" piece of paper and mail your entry via first-class mail in a No. 10 business-size envelope with sufficient postage to: The American Competitive Trail Horse Association 637 Soda Creek Road Spicewood, TX 78669 one entry per person or household. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by May 10, 2013, and must be received by May 15, 2013. Limit one (1) entry per person or household, regardless of entry method. No pre-printed entry forms allowed. Proof of mailing does NOT constitute proof of receipt.
Limit: One (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry. Any person who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail and/or street addresses, under multiple identities, attempts to use any device or artifice to enter multiple times, is in violation of this entry limitation and will be disqualified.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Giveaway is open to all legal US residents, age 18 or over. Employees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) of Sponsor, their advertising and promotion agencies, the independent judges and all of their respective affiliated companies and subsidiaries are not eligible to participate or win.
WINNER SELECTION: On or about June 1, 2013, a random selection will select one (5) prizewinners in a random computer generated drawing, from among all eligible entries received, both members in good standing, new members and Option B entrants. Winners will be shown on www.actha.us and on www.facebook.com/actha and/or contacted either via e-mail, US Postal Service, or other form of home-delivery. The selection is final. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE: Five (5) all expenses paid trips awarded to five (5) separate winners, including air fare, for a weekend stay at Monty Roberts' Ranch. The dates of the weekend stay are September 6 through 8, 2013, including meals and transportation from the airport to the ranch, and all accommodations while staying at the ranch.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: All taxes on prize and any expenses not specified herein are the winner's sole responsibility. No prize transfer allowed prior to award. No prize substitution except by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, due to prize unavailability and only then for a prize of equal value. Winner may be asked to sign an "Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release" and return it within 10 days of notification or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. By entering the Giveaway, entrants agree to all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and by the decisions of The US Giveaway & Fulfillment Co. (the independent judging agency) and Sponsor, which are binding and final in all respects. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to publish winner's name and/or likeness, if it so chooses, without additional compensation, unless and except where prohibited by law. By entering, entrants release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of such entities from any and all liability arising from, or in connection with participation in Giveaway or the receipt, possession, acceptance or use/misuse of the prize offered. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to tamper with, deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to prosecute and seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law (in addition to disqualification of such individual if an entrant).
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Participation in the Giveaway is subject to ACTHA's Privacy Statement found at http://www.actha.us if you do not agree to the terms of ACTHA's Privacy Statement; do NOT participate in the Giveaway. Sponsor and its agents and affiliates are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, service providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Giveaway; inability to access the survey site; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; printing or human errors; and any mailed entries which are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible or postage due, or any combination thereof. If, for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor, the Promotion cannot be implemented as planned, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, and select the winner from all eligible "survey" entries (i.e., entries accrued by completion of the survey) received up to the time of termination and all eligible Option B (mail) entries received. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on www.actha.us. Use of computer programs and/or other automated devices to enter Promotion is prohibited.
